Dana Monteleone

Purchasing Coordinator and Studio Associate

Dana comes to the JLI team with an extensive background in logistics. Whether behind the computer or on-site at an installation, she masterminds and executes JLI’s procurement needs, and facilitates installations, with a keen, critical and discerning eye and meticulous attention to detail.

Intuitive, organized and calm, Dana takes satisfaction in assisting clients throughout the design process and is dedicated to making the journey enjoyable, exciting and methodical. An expert at cutting through the proverbial clutter, she’s always in complete control of a job’s multiple, and often complicated, moving pieces.

Dana also prides herself in her ability to multi-task, facing every challenge head-on with thoughtfulness and innovative solutions when issues arise. “Whether I’m expediting orders, planning timelines or assisting designers with plans or proposals, I’m approachable, attentive and solution-oriented.”

Skilled at establishing systems and setting standards, Dana plays an integral role in keeping projects on time and within budget. Her goal is to not just meet, but also exceed, client expectations. A job is only a success when it’s executed smoothly, delivered as promised and clients feel totally at home in their new space.

Design is a collaborative process with many moving pieces, and Dana is appreciated and respected for her calm demeanor in tumultuous moments. Her unruffled manner and obvious passion for her work has proven instrumental in fostering lasting bonds with clients and vendors, and that same enthusiasm spills over to her relationships with JLI colleagues. An enthusiastic team player, she’s earned their respect as the “go-to” person for getting any job done.

Dana previously worked for a high-profile home furnishings retailer, where she oversaw major installations throughout the Midwest. She credits her ability to find creative solutions to installation emergencies and handle any job under the sun to the hectic pace and high-stakes nature of her previous position.

Off-hours, Dana enjoys block printing and finding the perfect spot to enjoy a nice glass of gin. In warm weather, there’s always a great patio involved in the latter pursuit!
